Yep, that’s right we’re finalists in the 2011 Golden Backpack Awards.  Not only for JUCY Rentals in NZ and OZ, but also for JUCY Cruize and JUCY Hotel.  That means all four JUCY products are finalists, and we’re only finalists because YOU voted for us.  So a massive JUCY high-five to you all!

The Golden Backpack Awards are Australia and New Zealand’s only dedicated awards to reward companies who work hard to make backpacking around Australia and New Zealand awesome.  And the best part is they are voted by you the traveller!

JUCY Coffee has officially launched allowing fantastic coffee to be served out of our coffee window at the JUCY Hotel in Auckland City. 

Not only do we have coffee but we are stoked to announce our partnership is with ALLPRESS Espresso which is regarded as the highest quality coffee supplier in New Zealand.  Like JUCY, Allpress is a fantastic New Zealand company that has built it’s brand around a superior product and we’re stoked to be serving Allpress coffees to our JUCY customers & guests.

So, If you’re staying at the hotel and in need a caffeine fix we can now help you out by getting your day off to a JUCY start!  And if you’re not staying with us and are just walking by and need a caffeine hit then that’s fine too!

It’s time to start getting excited.  Next weekend Auckland will be overrun with Katy Perry fans as we get ready for her to take to the stage at Auckland’s Vector Arena for two shows before heading south to Wellington.

The girls from JUCY HQ are going and I can assure you excitement is growing.  Rumour has it that the JUCY Hotel will be playing Katy songs throughout the weekend just to get everyone (staff and guests included) in the mood.

The JUCY Hotel in Auckland is already completely booked for the Saturday night, but on Sunday night there are still a few rooms left so if you are still on the hunt for a place to rest your head check out our place.
